What is it?

Why use it?
Internally this can be used to stimulate digestive juices ( which is great if you have lowered protein digestion) , it also encourages peristalsis (the movement made by your digestive organs to propel food through) this is great if you are prone to constipation. But may also alleviate diarrhea, through its possible ability to tone the bowel and kill intestinal parasites.

Externally you can  use it as a throat gargle as it is anti bacterial, may alleviate itching and fungal infections when added to bathwater.
