Post Workout Supplements are commonly presented & sold as Formulated Supplementary Sports Foods in New Zealand – As its name suggests, post-workout supplements are to be taken after a workout or training session. Containing crucial ingredients to help during the post-training nutritional window, they help with recovery and also aid in muscle repair and growth. After your workouts, your exhausted muscles and crying out for several important macro and micronutrients to help restore them to optimum function. A good quality post-workout supplement, taken along with the appropriate pre- and intra-workout supplement can really help you achieve your goals much faster. One of the major ingredients in post-workout supplement is the well known and well studied creatine. Creatine supplements have been shown to be extremely effective for supporting lean muscle growth, strength and size. Consumed for a prolonged period of time, creatine helps to boost our body’s ability to maintain high energy levels which can assist anaerobic strength as well as endurance. Creatine can help you to lift more in the gym and for longer periods of time to help you get the muscular adaptations you want. Creatine supplements stack well with carbohydrate supplements, protein supplements and pre- and intra workout supplements.
