This anti-oxidant is actually commonly prescribed as a drug in Japan for people with heart problems. Its abundantly found in organs, such as hearts, livers etc - but most of us don't eat these regularly! Its even been successfully patented as an anti-AIDS drug.

Dosage will depend on the purpose you are taking it. You should advise your Doctor you are taking Co Enzyme Q10 because it may actually reduce the need for some heart drugs.

Co Enzyme Q10 has no known negative side effects and is also produced by the body at the celluar level (although not very effectively).
