Dream Tan Self Tanning Spray

You have trained hard all year pushing your body to the limit and often beyond, dieted like nothing on earth, and you are ready to step on stage.  Don’t undo all your hard work with sloppy presentation – this includes your tan.   Dream Tan Self Tanning Spray creates the perfect tan and has been around for a long time.  It is used in more than 30 countries by bodybuilders, and the dance sports to create a very dark, professional tan.  Stage lighting is very intense and will leave you looking like Casper the friendly ghost if you do not have a deep enough tan.  Dream Tan will enhance your muscularity and definition on stage and have you looking like a Greek God.   

Dream Tan Self Tanning Spray is ‘painted’ onto your body with a foam brush.  Unlike some instant tans on the market that dry your skin out, Dream Tan is loaded with moisturisers to hydrate your skin leaving it soft and smooth, not dry, cracked and irritated.   

APPLICATION HINTS

Over the years I have helped prep many of my mates for competition and have learnt these tips for creating the perfect tan…..

1. Before you apply Dream Tan, you need to remove all body hair and thoroughly exfoliate your body – yes guys that means you to! Grab an exfoliating scrub from the supermarket (can be found in the girly section) and give your body a good once over.  This will remove all that old dead skin, which if left will make your tan look patchy. It will also make removing the tan easier.
2. Start tanning at least 1-2 days before your comp. Instead of spraying Dream Tan directly on the skin and then brushing it out with the brush, I recommend that you pour the entire contents of the bottle into a glass bowl. You can then dip the brush into the tan and paint from there.  This will give you far more control. You will be surprised how far the fine mist will travel if you spray it onto the body – it is not something you want on the carpet, walls or curtains!
3. Using the brush that is supplied or a sponge, paint the body starting from the neck and working your way down to the ankles.  DO NOT PAINT YOUR FACE!!  Your tan will appear instantly making it easy to see where you have applied it.
4. Depending on your natural skin colour, you will need at lease 4-6 coats.  Make sure you’re your tan is completely dry before applying another coat. One bottle will cover the average body for up to 6 coats. Go easy on the knees elbows underarms, and ankles. These areas typically take the tan better than other body parts. If they don't need more tan by the third, or fourth time round, then stop painting them and blend around.
5. Once you have finished your tanning and are completely dry, put on some warm clothing, preferably dark as some of the product will rub off. One last piece of advice I can offer you is not to wear anything with elastic waistbands, this will leave a ‘train track’ over your mid section from where the tan will rub off.
