Questions & Answers For: NFS Kre-Alkalyn pH Correct Creatine
Q. Is Creatine like a growth hormone, and does it advance muscle building? (Posted: 11th Dec, 2006)
A. Creatine is second only to Protein Powder in terms of its use by athletes and bodybuilders wanting to increase their strength, recover faster from exercise, and enhance muscle volume and size.

There are literally millions of articles about Creatine on the internet, just use to Google to search for information about Creatine. It absolutely positively, will help you with your training goals if they include the above.

Creatine is a not a steroid or growth hormone, what it does is increase the level of ATP in your muscles which is sort of like a muscle energy store. This helps your muscles work harder, leading to greater gains in the gym and consequently larger muscle size. Its NOT just a cell volumizer, it really does help increase your strength.

A. Basically, yes. You could also take 4 tablets every day too, but alot of benefit with creatine comes from both preworkout increases in energy and strength and recovery, meaning it might be wasted on non training days.

Q. Can I take more than what is prescribed? (Posted: 23rd March, 2008)
A. Well of course you physically can, but its probably not advisable! The only justification for this is if you are particularly big already, i.e. over 100kgs then you could certainly increase the dose commensurately with what a person of average weight say 75kg's would take.

Q. Seeing as creatine helps volumise your muscles with water, would it be wrong to use creatine in conjunction with a thermogenic formula/capsule? (Posted: 28th Nov, 2008)
A. Not necessarily, however you will need to drink a lot of water to ensure you have water to take into the muscles as fat burners and thermogenics either contain diuretics, or make you warmer.

Alternatively, look for a fat burner that doesn't contain diuretics.

Q. Is it safe for under 18s? (Posted: 3rd Dec, 2008)
A. Creatine is ok if you are under 18's, but I would personally look at my diet, and some protein powder, some Omega Fish Oils, and a multi-vit before going for the creatine.

Q. Seeing as creatine helps volumise your muscles with water, can it be expected to lose some tone after you stop taking creatine due to the loss of water in your cells? (Posted: 19th Feb, 2009)
A. Yes it does pull water into your muscles but this helps your muscles contract better and allows for heavier weights/more strenght. It also provides direct energy for your muscles allowing longer and harder workouts. Finally the water helps flush out the bad stuff after a workout like build up of lactic acid etc and therefore aids recovery.

Q. If you stop taking creatine, will there be some muscle loss? (Posted: 29th June, 2009)
A. There may appear to be simply due to the fact that creatine draws water in the muscle which makes them appear juicier! However you will not loose much actual lean muscle mass, although you will have a little less energy available in the muscle cell, so you may have less energy to pump iron....
