| Q. Hi I am looking for a protein bar to have for breakfast after excercise. What protein bar would be best for a woman looking for tone and weight control without the time to make breakfast!!!? |

| A. Hi there, to be honest it depends on a bunch of factors, such as whether you are doing any resistance training, or just aeroboic activity? If you are doing any resistance training, you will want to have the protein bar BEFORE training preferably, as well as after. If you are just doing cardio, then most bars which are relatively low in fat and carbs should be ideal, such as Horleys Carbless bars. Beware of bars which have high levels of sugars or saturated fats, other than that - its just a matter of what tastes best! Also, protein powder mixed with water is still going to be not only much cheaper, but better nutritionally than a protein bar of any sort. |
